Database upgrades

The Scheme’s database is being upgraded today, with some much needed technological refreshes and some great new features. I’m really looking forward to these being implemented. There’s these bits and pieces to come:

New image viewer (zoomify style)
New map client (new maps to come)
Spatial proximity listers
Workflow indicators
Enquiry button
RSS search facility
Area of interest alerts
Self registration
Enhanced data entry [...]
