Interactive database help
This section will feature interactive movies, relating to the use of the Scheme's database. It is broken down into different uses of the database. It is not complete and all movies will need Macromedia's flash plugin.
If you have specific problems with the database, then please get in touch with the Scheme's ICT Adviser, Dan Pett. We are aware that the Scheme's database has general user interface problems. These will be rectified as soon as possible.
Many of the problems that people encounter using our database can be eradicated by using a standards compliant browser. We suggest using Firefox from Mozilla. Internet Explorer has many quirks that cause the "This page cannot be displayed" message to appear. This should disappear when IE 7 is released!
The movies below were made using Macromedia's Captivate programme. I'm still getting to grips with it so please excuse jerky movies.
There are several distinct user groups who might use our database, you will get more out of the database by registering for an account. These groups are laid out below:
Public user
