A cast copper-alloy crotal bell of late medieval to post-medieval date. The bell has two sound holes in the upper portion, one of which is filled with ferrous corrosion. Below a central moulded ridge there is a further sound hole which consists of two circular perforations linked by a longer gap. There is no makers mark. The top of the crotal bell has a sub-rectangular suspension loop with a sub-oval gap. The object is 30 mm wide, 40 mm high and weighs 32.5 grams.
