A slightly corroded and bent, plain copper-alloy sheet rivet which would have been used to hold repairs to a vessel in place. The object is sub-rectangular in form, having originally been ?octagonal. It has been folded in on itself from the sides before being folded back. There is a loss at one of the longer ends. The object has a variable mid-green patina with pacthes of lighter corrosion product. Similar examples found in Norwich tend to be found in post-medieval contexts (Margeson 1993, 92-93; refs. 574, 575).
