Welcome to the Celtic Coin Index - registration
In true web 2.o style, this service is still in development. Registration will open in August. If you want to add yourself to our mailing list for when it opens, please fill in the form below:
Over the coming month, the Celtic Coin Index will be cleaning up its data set for access by academics, researchers and other interested parties. The dataset will be enhanced by data from 2001 - 2007 that has been created by Philip de Jersey at Oxford University and also by data created by the staff of the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
What benefits are there to registering?
Academics and trusted parties can gain access to:
- Google Earth KML files
- CSV,XML,JSON downloads
- Downloads of original images
An authenticated API is currently being constructed to allow archaeological developers to play with the data and create their own mashups.
